## Story IDE

A focused workspace for long-form fiction and connected story worlds. Web app. Status: In development.

Story IDE keeps a manuscript and the world it lives in together. Scenes, plans, characters and places share the same records, so the plan is never a second copy of the book and a change shows up everywhere it matters.

- **Write.** Scene-based editing with snapshots, word counts, adjustable typography and a Focus mode.
- **Plan.** Scene boards, manuscript order, search and a command palette.
- **Build the world.** Codex entries with aliases, tags and typed fields, events, relationships over time, and timeline and graph views.
- **Review.** Notes linked to their sources, explicit continuity rules, and AI suggestions that change nothing until the author approves them.
- **Keep it safe.** Portable project archives, text sync and clear recovery when something goes wrong.

Used in-house while it is built. It gets its own site and blog when it opens.
