The short version

Use Lucernel's websites, apps and services lawfully and within the rules of the platforms they connect to. App Store purchases are billed, renewed and refunded by Apple. The services come as they are, and every app has its own terms as well. Questions go to support@lucernel.com.

1. Acceptance

These terms apply when you use Lucernel websites, apps, support pages, APIs, integrations, automations, and related services. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

2. Lucernel services

  • Lucernel builds and operates mobile apps, web pages, support pages, legal pages, API-backed features, and automation tools.
  • Musael is a service of Lucernel LLC for writing books and building consistent story worlds. Its website is https://musael.com and its workspace and accounts are at https://app.musael.com.
  • These terms cover Musael alongside any service-specific terms presented on its website.
  • Some services connect to third-party platforms, including app stores, analytics tools, payment processors, AI providers, social publishing tools, and API services.
  • Features may change, pause, or be removed as products and integrations evolve.

3. Accounts and connected services

  • Some features may require an account, authentication token, API key, OAuth grant, workspace connection, or linked third-party service.
  • You are responsible for keeping access credentials secure and for the permissions you grant to connected services.
  • You can request account help, deletion, or access changes by contacting support@lucernel.com or privacy@lucernel.com.

4. API and integration use

  • You may not use Lucernel services or connected APIs to violate platform rules, abuse rate limits, scrape unlawfully, send spam, bypass access controls, or process data you are not allowed to use.
  • When Lucernel connects to a third-party platform, that platform may apply its own terms, privacy policy, developer rules, content rules, billing terms, and API limits.
  • Lucernel may suspend or revoke access to integrations that create security, legal, platform, or operational risk.

5. Content and publishing

  • You are responsible for the content, files, prompts, metadata, posts, schedules, and instructions you submit through Lucernel services or connected tools.
  • If a service helps publish to another platform, you remain responsible for reviewing the content before it is posted and for following that platform's rules.
  • Lucernel may remove or restrict content that appears unlawful, abusive, infringing, unsafe, or incompatible with platform requirements.

6. Purchases and subscriptions

  • Lucernel apps and services may offer paid subscriptions, paid features, trials, usage-based services, or one-time purchases.
  • Prices, billing periods, trials, renewals, and cancellation terms are shown before purchase or by the payment provider.
  • App Store purchases are billed by Apple. Other purchases may be billed by the payment processor shown at checkout.
  • Musael purchases use Stripe Managed Payments, with Link as the merchant of record (the seller for the transaction). Prices, renewal, cancellation and refund conditions are shown at checkout.

7. Intellectual property

Lucernel software, branding, product names, designs, website content, app content, and related materials are owned by Lucernel or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8. Third-party services

  • Lucernel may use third-party services for hosting, authentication, analytics, payments, customer support, AI processing, email, app infrastructure, social publishing, and API connectivity.
  • Third-party services are not controlled by Lucernel. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use or connect them.

9. Disclaimers

  • The services are provided as is and as available.
  • Lucernel does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, specific outcomes, platform availability, or continued availability of any third-party API.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lucernel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the services.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, where Lucernel LLC is organized, and by applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Consumer protection laws of the country where you live still apply.
